allthingschristine

Hi I’m Christine and I am an avid reader, reviewer and general lover of books. My blog focuses on reviews but I also feature: book hauls, monthly releases, author spotlights, upcoming releases, blog blasts, book events, book mail, author interviews, and more! Here are some of the blog series I have in my blog: Waiting on Wednesday (upcoming releases), Books on a Budget (way to get Books cheaper), Featured Author of the Month (author spotlight) and Blogging for Beginners.

My blog does focus on Young Adult books, specifically YA fantasy. That doesn’t mean that I don’t read other genres. I read all YA genres, murder mysteries, historical fiction, thrillers, and the odd non fiction history and entrepreneurial book. For a full list on the genres I read and my review policy please check it out on my site here: http://www.allthingschristine.ca/review-policy/

Crowvus Book Blog

I started my book blog because, as well as writing, and providing people with other authors’ work, I also love reading! On the blog, I will review books that I’ve read and enjoyed. I don’t like negativity so I won’t post up a review of a book I disliked. I always try and read to the end of a book – even if I don’t gel with it.

Quirky Cat’s Fat Stacks

Ever feel so overwhelmed by all of the books you’re reading that you’ve just felt compelled to write reviews about them? I have. I have bookshelves stacked on top of bookshelves. With books stacked on top of those bookshelves. It’s a carefully balanced pile of chaos, well, mostly balanced. And don’t even get me started on my ebooks library. You don’t want to go there.

I write reviews to justify buying more books. Or do I buy more books to justify my reviews? I forget. Either way, I write reviews for books. My favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy, so if you follow this blog you will see a lot of that. I’m also a huge comic book fan, so that’s probably going to bleed through to this blog sooner rather than later. From time to time I’ll kick my butt into reading and reviewing other genres too, so all hope is not lost for those that are not fans of sci-fi and fantasy.
