A blog for readers written by authors. AFWB wants it’s readers to experience all the amazing moments that a good book has to offer, except we don’t want to just give you one book, we want to share a world of books and imagination with you. The benefits of being a reader is that you get to fall in love again and again with the books you read.

BookBum

I’m a UK book blogger who loves to read and review a whole range of genres. My favourite books to read are mystery, thriller, crime, horror, historical fiction, true crime, dystopian and non-fiction. I will, on occasion, read literary fiction too, but I’m quite picky! I use my blog daily, to promote and review books, create useful bookish articles and join in with fun bookish memes.

I accept physical and ebooks from authors from my review policy page in my menu bar. I am a very honest reviewer… you’ve been warned!

Dee’s Rad Reads and Reviews

My name is Dee and I love to read. I am in my early 40s. After reading so many books over the years, I found that I was starting to pick books that I had already read. That’s not so bad when they are books from the library but when you are paying for them it can start to get expensive. So I joined Goodreads to keep track of what I read. After doing that for a while and reading other people’s reviews, I thought I would start writing my own reviews. They were short little blurbs at first and as time went on they started to get longer and more in depth. I was really enjoying writing them, giving my opinions on what I liked or didn’t like about the book. About a year ago I decided to start a book blog. It is another place to keep all of my reviews and connect with the blogging community. I read and review a wide variety of books. I review a lot of current and up coming books. I have also learned that branching out and trying new books can be very rewarding. My reviews may not be perfect. I do my best but occasionally they may have grammar, punctuation, or spelling errors. However, I will always offer my honest opinion in a respectful way.

AnnaBookBel

I (Annabel) have been blogging about books since autumn 2008. My blog’s changed names a few times since then – from Gaskella to Annabel’s House of Books, before settling as AnnaBookBel when I went self-hosted. I am an eclectic reader – mainly of contemporary fiction but with a mix of nearly everything else thrown in, including crime, SF&F, graphic novels, YA, horror, poetry, classics and modern classics – all on the printed page, I really dislike reading on a screen. I blog 2-3 times per week on a good week and write about every single book I read, with occasional asides for movies, theatre and other things. Hope to see you visit my blog – thanks for reading.
