Read, Relax, Review

I have always enjoyed reading so I thought that I would share this love of reading with my desire to begin a blog. This has given rise to the blog you are currently reading.
The genres that I read have changed over the years coinciding with me getting older. I will read fiction (historical, Christian and Christian romance, YA, humour, some crime, graphic novels) and non-fiction (most non-fiction genres). I prefer the print version of books but I’m quite open to reading ebooks as well.
I’m hoping that this blog will allow me to publish honest reviews of books (If I don’t like a book I will be totally honest, maybe brutally, with my comments) as well as giving people some ideas for possible reading material.

bookish rita

I blog about bookish things, so most of the times I do tags, lists and book reviews. Occasionally I like to do my “longer” pieces, I post my thoughts on a particular thing (book related) that bothers me or that I want to bring more attention to.
I read most genres although I tend to focus more on Adult Fiction or YA contemporaries.

I always reply to comments!

Reads to Live

Reads to Live has no specific focus, so it’s as all over the place as my shelves are. I read a lot of backlist, prefer speculative and historical fiction, and hate romance. I’m partial to stories about animals and LGBTQIA+ characters.

The Blogin’ Hobgoblin

I write silly short reviews, I don’t go much in to plot But tell how I liked it. Mostly fantasy and science fiction. But I do read some of just about anything. I have read almost 300 books this year and over 250 last year so I have to try new things all the time. I also love to host book giveaways.

D2 Books Blog

The strength and courage of the individual is most important to me in the books I review and in my writing–because that’s what I like to see triumph both in myself and in those around me. I’m a slow reader, but feel free to send a book recommendation along if you think it fits that description. Genres I gravitate toward include suspense, mystery, thriller, the feel of a classic, non-fiction, self reflection or personal growth, short stories, and unique works. My blog also has examples of what I read.
