~she/her| 19 | bi | book blogger ~ I just want more queer fantasy adventure novels with dragons and magic… or you know even one?

My reviews are mostly nonsensical rambles and rants. I’ll be reviewing adult fantasy to the depths of YA fantasy.

The Cozy Orca

The Cozy Orca focuses on short, to the point reviews. Sometimes I live-blog while I’m working on a manuscript. There’s a life aspect to the blog, too, with DIYs, recipes, and holistic wellness. Also, there are pictures of puppies.

Let Us Talk of Many Things…

I am an established hybrid author published for over 20 years in the UK and in the US and other countries. I have been blogging for many years now, and thoroughly enjoy helping authors (especially indie) get noticed. I am happy to host book tours and guest posts – usually scheduled for Tuesdays on my ‘Tuesday Talk’ slot. Although I write historical fiction and nautical adventure (with a touch of fantasy) I am happy to host anything that is ‘interesting’ (although see below for details. I don’t have a readership for YA, horror or erotica.) I prefer articles that are about something of interest rather than just ‘this is my book’, although of course this can be mentioned, and I am happy to include an links to FB, Twitter, websites and Amazon etc. I am happy to include giveaways, although it up to the author to organise these.

I link all posts on Google, Facebook and Twitter

Book Therapy

counsellor and author. Passionate about literature, psychology, life and mental health she launched Book Therapy as a form of non-conventional therapy and personal coaching.

Bijal is a top writer on Medium for the category ‘Reading’ and ‘Poetry’. Bijal is also the author and publisher of The Happiness Mindset under the pen name Brandon Stanberg. The book details 12 life strategies, designed to make you happier and more successful.

Our concept is based around the simple idea that ‘reading heals’ and specifically prescribed reading can make us more self-aware, informed, happier and resilient. Reading to heal is an age-old, timeless form of therapy, prevalent since the beginning of written verse. Reading is therapeutic and it allows us to connect with other characters (fictional or non-fictional) who face similar issues. By connecting with them we feel understood – our plight has been acknowledged and we are not alone in how we are feeling. Instead, we are guided and inspired by how others deal with these issues. Our conscious and sub-conscious mind escapes into a form of meditation that can not only be therapeutic, but also relaxing and entertaining, offering respite from the daily stresses of modern life.

The Bilingual Reader

The bilingual reader is completely dedicated to books. My goal is to feature as many diverce reads and authors as possible. I read books written in Bulgarian, Russian and English and I write my reviews in English and in Bulgarian.

I have a strong tendency for fantasy, sci-fi and YA, but I also read a lot of contemporary and I’m making an extra effort to find books with themes like mental health and LGBT and diverce characters. Midgrade books are my guilty pleasure.

I am currently learning Spanish in hopes of starting to read books and write reviews in Spanish as well.

Started my blog – April 2018.

ShikhaReadster

Hello, my name is Banhi Shikha and I am a fervent lover of books. I started this blog on a whim in the summer of 2017. At the time, I really had no idea what I was doing. I just wanted to share my love for fictional world with fellow book lovers. Since then I had the privilege of ‘meeting’ many incredible readers and authors through this blog.

Little bit about me… Growing up in India in the 90’s meant books were my only salvation. As a kid I used to read regional literature more. My childhood was filled with books of Satyajit Ray, Rabindranath Tagore, Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Now I try to read across various genres. I love to talk about the books I am reading, I can talk about them all day long. So it was only a matter of time before I started a book blog.

I am a passionate reader. My favorite kind of books are those which make my heart skip a beat and force me to stay up till 4AM so that I can finish them in one sitting. While reading a story, I completely forget the world around me. I cannot tell you how many times I have missed my stop because of that.

Unlike many people I have no problem with spoilers (dunno why). Sometimes, after reading hundred something pages, I read the ending, then go back and continue with rest of the story. I know, I am weird.

Check out my review policy section to know more about my reading taste or how I select which books to review.

Thanks for your time and attention.

BookDragonGirl

As a reviewer, I try to always be honest in my opinion and fair to the author. I don’t give 1 or 2 star ratings, actually I’ve rarely posted a 3. I’d rather not do that to something someone poured their heart and soul into. You can read about that and more in my REVIEW POLICY, found on my blog. It’s located on the menu bar between HOME and WELCOME TO MY BLOG, you can’t miss it! The Genres I prefer to review are: Adult, New Adult, Romance Contemporary, Romance Comedy, Romance/ReverseHarem, MC Romance, Dark Romance, Shapeshifter Romance, SciFi Romance, Mystery, Suspense, Thriller, Horror, Dystopian, Fantasy/UrbanFantasy (Some), All Young Adult. I’m open to new things! Except NOT non-fiction and NOT Historical Romance. Oh, and I’m really tired of vampires. But I LOVE werewolves! Lol!

I think I covered everything! I leave reviews on my Blog, Goodreads, Amazon (US, UK, AU and CA), Barnes and Noble, KOBO, iBooks. For social media, my reviews are posted to: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus, Pinterest, Instagram and BookBub (if I can locate the book on there). If there was someplace special you might like it posted, I will do my best to help!

I’m also willing to help with teasers, cover reveals, trailers, book blitzes, etc!
