Amy’s Bookshelf

Amy’s Bookshelf is a way for me to express my opinions about the novels I read, ranging from old classics to contemporary works of fiction. I never include spoilers in my reviews so no plots will be ruined for anyone who hasn’t read them yet. Also, every book I read I rate out of five stars and my ratings are placed at the top of the post so readers can see what I’ve rated it before they begin reading.

Stories from the margins

I am an avid reader who loves weird/speculative fiction. But, I also read literary fiction. I love talking about books and hope you love listening to me. I started reading when I was young and never stopped. I like books that explore new worlds in old ways and old worlds in new ways. I like books that tell old stories in new ways. I love tales of the weird. I like poems that tell stories and stories that read like poems

Fearless Creative

I’ve been blogging since 2013. Initially, Fearless Creative was a lifestyle blog consisting of product reviews, DIYs, musings, travel journals, and book reviews. In January 2017, I changed my blog focus to books and travel. I read over 100 books a year, just about every genre, though I lean more heavily toward YA, literary fiction, and cozy mysteries (cozies are my favorite!). While I do read the occasional paranormal/urban fantasy, it’s not my favorite genre unless it’s a cozy. Other than that, my tastes are fairly open. That being said, I hate love triangles with a passion, especially in YA books.

I review everything I read honestly, but do try to be constructive with criticism. On the rare occasion when I have such strong negative feelings about a book that I can’t be objective, I’ll withhold a review in fairness to the author.

Hannah J Bullimore

Writing, reading and musing. This blog is a place for writers, readers and fashion lovers to gain some inspiration. I post a couple of book reviews a week as well as my own short fiction, writing prompts, writing about the North East and fashion posts. I’m currently building a following as I have only been blogging seriously since Christmas. I am a writer based in the North East and I have a presence on Facebook and Instagram, I love reading most fiction and travel writing, but particularly love historical and crime fiction.

Chick Lit Goddess

Chick Lit Goddess is an author/book promotion website, where we promote both, traditional and self-published authors and their books. We do our best to share author and book news with over 3,000 of our followers, and on occasion, we provide book reviews, too. (Please note that at the moment, we’re accepting selective review requests).

Loving what we do, we often take part in Chick Lit Plus Blog Tours (CLP rocks, by the way), we’ve opened our own book blog business, Goddess Book Tours. If you’d like to follow anything GBT related, use the hashtag #GoddessTours on Facebook and Twitter.

Dreaming Of Happy Endings

Dreaming Of Happy Endings is a place for all my bookish things. I read mainly Young Adult, contemporary being my most-read genre, with some New Adult and Adult Chick-Lit or Mystery/Thriller every now and again, and review the books I read usually at least once a week. As well as book reviews, I also post about anything and everything book related that’s on my mind, and even talk about the odd movie or TV show every now and again.

Twisted Road Book Reviews

I prefer to review books in the genres of suspense/thriller/mystery. This can include cozy mysteries; legal, medical, and psychological thrillers, romantic suspense and domestic suspense (my personal fave). I wish I had more time to review more genres, but the truth is, I don’t. I work full-time as a trial paralegal and I’m also a published author. I have to be very selective and picky about the books I review and therefore, I see no need to waste my time or yours on genres I wouldn’t typically read. That being said, I will consider very select YA novels (if they have cross-over potential), historical fiction (if target audience is women), and general women’s fiction (i.e., “chick lit”). DO NOT send me: science fiction, zombie apocalypse, speculative, fantasy, paranormal, and especially NO EROTICA OR GENRE ROMANCE. Please see my website for more information, review policy, and review requests. My website is currently under construction as of March 2017, but I do check my messages daily, so you will receive a very prompt response to your request. Finally, I will post on my blog, Amazon and Goodreads only. Thank you for considering Twisted Road Book Reviews.
