Radioactive Stardust

Hi, I am San and guess what, I blog about books. I do monthly Wrap Ups and TBR’s. Sometimes there are some other book related articles. I mainly read YA Fantasy and Science fiction books, but I branch out to classics, regular fantasy, historical fiction and Romance. Beside books, I also do Bullet Journaling and you will find monthly flipthroughs and some more helpful tips on the whole topic. Sometimes some wild photos will pop up, too, because I like to share them.
I will be happy if you visit my blog and maybe find something that you will like 🙂

Marion’s Bookshelf

I like historical fiction, especially the World War II era. Also enjoy reading children’s and YA books. Romance is high on my list as well – prefer the Regency era romances but NOTHING SEXUALLY EXPLICIT! Also no zombies or vampires please. My reviews are honest and my personal opinion; in the case of a poor review, tactful. However, I refuse to rate something as four or five stars based on just the story line alone.

For me, a five-star rating needs to meet the following criteria:

– Story Line should be strong, not an obviously shallow story that we can figure out from page one. I like twists and turns. I like surprises.
– The use of good English grammar should be a standard.
– Spelling and punctuation should follow the rules of grammar. Misspelled words only serve to skew the meaning of what is being written. –
– Poor punctuation only heightens an awareness in the reader to look for other errors.
– Sloppy formatting is another problem. If an author can’t take the time to make sure that paragraphs are indented, that there are no run on words, that the spacing is consistent then don’t expect me to take the time to figure out what should be where.

I respond to all review requests. Based on my to-be-read pile I will let you know when to expect a review. My reviews are posted on my blog (of course), on Amazon, and on Goodreads. As an author I may be also involved in writing and research so keep that in mind when asking for a review with a deadline. Looking forward to meeting you!

The Travelling Reader

We read and review fiction books which have been based in the UK. For some books, we travel to the place the book was set and on our return from our travels, we review both the book and the place and post the reviews on the site. We have dedicated pages for our book reviews, our place reviews, a blog and a subscription service which incorporates the travelling we do.

The Book Chick

A blog about all the books a 20-something bookaholic reads. She takes every chance she gets. It does not mater if it is on the buss or while waiting for the buss, in the queue at the bank or in the freaking cashier line at the local food store. She even reads while she eat her breakfast or making her dinner. Even before bed and in bed. And while she does not read, shes listening on audio books. Yep! This one eat, sleeps and breaths books…. or something like that.
