Those Precious Stolen Moments

Those Precious Stolen Moments exists to celebrate those glorious minutes when you sneak a chance to opt out from work, family and commitments and just lose yourself in a story.

We don’t all have time to read dozens of books a year, so my aim for this blog is to filter through the ‘buzz’ books, the ubiquitously tipped debut authors or feverishly anticipated returns, the ‘must read’ lists for the month or the year; to dive into the literary or commercial books that get 5* across the board and try and to stretch those 5 stars out a little.

So it goes without saying that any featured book is probably worth reading, these are all beautiful, inspiring, transporting, wonderful books in their own way. But if you’re just a normal human being with only a few Precious Stolen Moments to read, I hope to make it easier for you to choose where to start.

Carissa Reads It All

A new book blogger who has a sincere passion for reading and writing down her thoughts! I read a wide variety of genres, the only ones I tend to stay away from are ‘self-help’. I would love to be able to have the chance to spread the word on new up and coming books.

Ctrl, Alt, Books!

We provide honest book reviews, book promotions and design services. We were formerly known as Lunar Haven.

Street Team:

Marie formerly of Paranormal Reads and Co-founder of Lunar Haven Reviews and Designs. Co-Founder of Ctrl, Alt, Books!
Marie holds a degree in Graphic Design and has returned to college in hopes of obtaining a degree in Internet Marketing. She has always had a passion for writing and reading ranging from genres like fantasy, paranormal, dystopian, steampunk to supernatural, spiritual, and the occasional manga. She finds herself eclectic when it comes to genres as any have the potential to capture her attention. Marie is perhaps more well known for her reviews on the Paranormal Reads and Lunar Haven Reviews and Designs before she ventured out on this new journey with co-founder Layna. Marie is currently finishing her long awaited debut YA Paranormal novel Resisting Fate, book one in The Right of Blood Series. When not reviewing or working on Graphic Design projects, Marie can be found out and about with a camera in her hand, studying, watching movies or anime that she enjoys or working to finish her book.

Layna formerly a reviewer on Lunar Haven Reviews and Designs and Co-Founder of Freshly Baked books. Co-Founder of Ctrl, Alt, Books!
Layna started with Lunar Haven Reviews and Designs fairly new to reviewing. However, after venturing to her own blog for a short while, she and Marie have now reunited in hopes of igniting their passion for reading and reviews once again. Having always enjoyed reading and writing, Layna has been hard at work with her first novel. Aside from reading and writing, Layna has tons of other hobbies, most of them include being a couch potato. She enjoys binge watching her favorite TV shows, listening to music, amateur photography and all things “nerdy”. Layna has big dreams of one day opening her own business, but for now, she’s typically found curled up somewhere watching Netflix or indulging in a good ol’ page-turning book.

Emma’s Bookish Corner

Emma’s Bookish Corner is my little corner of the vast online world where I shout and show love for all the great books out there. I’ve been a bookseller for 7 years so if there’s one thing I know about it’s books and there is no better joy in the world to me than talking about and sharing fantastic reads and that is exactly what I do on my blog.

A. Gavazzoni

My blog is about life, inside and outside books. As you may know, novels are all about Hidden Motives—what lies behind a person’s façade? What leads someone to behave in a certain way? To do the things they do? Is there such a thing as good, bad, moral and immoral?

It’s an open blog, and I hope to talk about a diverse range of thoughts and opinions. I have one firm rule: No judging others for their opinions. I want everyone to feel free to politely express his or her thoughts and views.

Ghost Light Publishing – The Blog will serve as a book review blog as well as a compilation of resources and ramblings for authors. When considering submitting your book for me to read and review, please keep in mind that my blog audience skews young and/or conservative.
