Beadyjan’s Books

Screen shot 2014-06-19 at 9.19.36 AMI specialise in reading and reviewing quality fiction books written by women, primarily for women, favourite genres include romantic fiction, historical and modern and I have a fondness for dual time novels. My very favourite books are twisty psychological chillers written from a female perspective (but I dislike police procedural fiction).
My favourite authors include Jojo Moyes, Diane Chamberlain, Heather Gudenkauf, Emma Donoghue, Elizabeth Haynes.
I also enjoy discovering new female authors.

Read, learn and shine

Screen shot 2014-05-02 at 6.59.57 PMThis blog is to encourage children and young adults to read. I found it a chore at the library to choose good books for my children. They often went to the library or book store and were not able to choose anything. My blog reviews books as they are read by myself both for pleasure and with my children. As they are books I read, there is a range in age recommendation and genre. I also like poety so I post the odd peice of poety also.

Beauty in Ruins

Screen shot 2014-05-02 at 6.53.21 AMThe online chronicles of an author, reader, reviewer, photographer, and urban explorer, rewriting the landscape of reality one page and one picture at a time. From genre (fantasy, horror, and sci-fi) to adventure fiction, it’s the power of imagination that intrigues me, and the ability to tell stories about things that have never been, and might never be.

Thoughts in Progress

Screen shot 2014-05-02 at 6.43.42 AMI review a wide array of genres, enjoy hosting guest posts and giveaways from authors. In addition, I talk about life in general. I also like to spotlight books that I think my readers would like, even if I don’t review them.

Emmaswritingthoughts

Screen shot 2014-04-18 at 10.44.40 AMMy blog is a combination of book reviews and little things to inspire visitors to start writing themselves. Besides that, I also promote my beta reading skills on there.
I accept almost every kind of genre, because I believe that each genre of book has their own beauty and I want to offer diversity to my readers. However, my personal favorites are Young Adults, Chicklit and anything contemporary.
I do not mind fantasy books, but I will not read another Twilight knock-off (there are too many), so you’re better off finding another reviewer for that. I usually review books within the week

Carol Early Cooney

Screen shot 2014-04-17 at 2.34.20 PMOn Fridays I post a book review on either a fiction, non fiction, or YA book. I also try and post information on either book services like elite or sites where lower cost books may be available. Sometimes on Mondays I will post about other topics but my main focus is to post a book review each Friday.

Maureen’s Books

Screen shot 2014-03-31 at 6.34.38 AMI’m a 24 year old Nurse with a huge book addiction. As long as I can remember my life has been filled with books and stories. I own many books and just love reading. Even though I have a busy job I read as much as I possibly can. I read many different kinds of books but mostly from the YA and romance genre.
I don’t only love reading books but I also love talking and writing about books. That’s why I started my own book blog. I love giving reviews about books. I’ve been doing this for a while on Goodreads and now I’m also reviewing on my own book blog.
