Tomes with Tea

Tomes with Tea is a book blog where I review books, chat with authors and discuss my reading/reviewing opinions. It has been in existence since mid August 2017 and at present has 65 followers through the WordPress following system and via email. I will also be setting up a newsletter in the coming months. I have a Twitter account currently linked to the blog and at this time is has 800 followers. I also do bookish giveaways on both my blog and on Twitter.

Uncommonly Bound

I read a lot of books. All sorts of books, too— memoirs, classics, historical fiction, biographies, YA, plays, historical nonfiction, graphic novels, even the occasional children’s book—no book is safe.

In the course of all this reading, I often come across very different books that share a common thread. A fantasy YA novel may touch upon the same idea as a historical account of life in early 20th century England. A memoir may remind me of a graphic novel I’ve read. Connections can be found in the strangest places. I use my blog to share some of the unlikely links I have found in literature.

I typically don’t rate the books I review–my main focus with this blog is to find unlikely connections between dissimilar books.

DomoMinReader

I have an open mind to book genres that I haven’t read. I mostly do reviews in English but I’m starting to review in Portuguese as well. Besides reviews I also do book hauls and interviews.

Lola Et La Vie

This blog started as a way for me to keep track of the books I read, but already has become so much more! Writing about the books I read is making my love for books bloom and blossom.
My reviews are always honest, informal and personal to my own experience reading the book. My reading taste is quite diverse and I am certainly not a book snob. I just like what I like. There are some popular books I don’t like and books people hate that I do like, but such is life.
