The BookWorm Drinketh

I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which is totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I wanted to create an open forum to pair books with alcoholic beverages based on the theme, feel and/or content of the book. I will warn you right now that I enjoy most genres, so prepare to expect the unexpected. You could see anything from Romance to Bizarro! Please join me on my pairing journey and join the discussion! (but, don’t imbibe too much, I’m trying to keep things civil here! … Although, I’m always up for a good debate! 😘)

I love everything books, booze and food and love to blog about all, or sometimes I Digress and just do my own thing because.. Why not??

Join me for my Book Reviews/Drink Pairings, my National Food & Drink Celebrations, Far Side Fridays, and Game On Saturdays!

Writing from the Heart

I have always been a big lover of fiction; whether it be soppy romance or dark scary, horrors. I love curling up with a good book, whether it be paperback or kindle edition! There is no one typical genre that I enjoy more than another; if the story grabs me then it is a winner to me. So, when I saw that other people were blogging about the books that they had been reading, well…i just had to give it a go myself. I love reading stories and then sharing them with my followers via WordPress/Twitter, etc.

The main topic of my blog is books/authors but I also create my own short stories too which I share on my blog every so often.

Pass Me That Book

Pass Me That Book began as a means of keeping tracks of all the books that I read, but also as a means of supporting Indie Authors. I love reading fantasy most of all, but I also adore Young Adult, Science Fiction, Historical, Mystery…really, I’m not picky as a book reader. I love helping promote books, and spreading the word about my favorite books that I’ve read. If interested, come check it out! I promise, I don’t bite! After all, I’m too busy reading!

Author Anthony Avina’s Blog

I am an author who has spent the last year and a half building my website into a successful book blog, where I give honest reviews that focus on the positive aspects of a novel rather than the negative. I don’t think negativity helps authors or books succeed, and that’s what I want from my blog, for people to succeed with their passion projects and careers. I also have started reviewing music, movies and more on my blog, and offer guest blog posts, author interviews and more!

The Bilingual Reader

The bilingual reader is completely dedicated to books. My goal is to feature as many diverce reads and authors as possible. I read books written in Bulgarian, Russian and English and I write my reviews in English and in Bulgarian.

I have a strong tendency for fantasy, sci-fi and YA, but I also read a lot of contemporary and I’m making an extra effort to find books with themes like mental health and LGBT and diverce characters. Midgrade books are my guilty pleasure.

I am currently learning Spanish in hopes of starting to read books and write reviews in Spanish as well.

Started my blog – April 2018.

ShikhaReadster

Hello, my name is Banhi Shikha and I am a fervent lover of books. I started this blog on a whim in the summer of 2017. At the time, I really had no idea what I was doing. I just wanted to share my love for fictional world with fellow book lovers. Since then I had the privilege of ‘meeting’ many incredible readers and authors through this blog.

Little bit about me… Growing up in India in the 90’s meant books were my only salvation. As a kid I used to read regional literature more. My childhood was filled with books of Satyajit Ray, Rabindranath Tagore, Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Now I try to read across various genres. I love to talk about the books I am reading, I can talk about them all day long. So it was only a matter of time before I started a book blog.

I am a passionate reader. My favorite kind of books are those which make my heart skip a beat and force me to stay up till 4AM so that I can finish them in one sitting. While reading a story, I completely forget the world around me. I cannot tell you how many times I have missed my stop because of that.

Unlike many people I have no problem with spoilers (dunno why). Sometimes, after reading hundred something pages, I read the ending, then go back and continue with rest of the story. I know, I am weird.

Check out my review policy section to know more about my reading taste or how I select which books to review.

Thanks for your time and attention.

The Troubles and Woes of a Bookworm

The Troubles and Woes of a Bookworm started way back in 2012 (please no one read my posts from back then, they’re humiliating; I’m either too lazy to remove them, or too scared to go looking back at those posts) – I didn’t post about my troubles or woes as such back then and I don’t post about them now. I do, however, post subscription box unboxings, monthly wrap ups, book tags (including original tags), hauls and when I feel passionate enough I even write full book reviews. So if that’s you sort of thing, check me out; I only post once a week so you won’t be spammed with the new content you can’t keep track of. 🙂
