Blurbworm

We’re a team consisting of two wayward daughters and their awesome and patient mom. We grew up tearing through books and now that we know how to write, we love reviewing them! We tend to read everything, except children’s books since we don’t have kids.

The Literary Phoenix

The Literary Phoenix was founded in 2011 and revitalized in late 2016. I’m a 90s kid, reader, casual writer, and pop culture fan with a love for history and magic. I read whatever my heart desires, for all ages, with an emphasis on YA and on Fantasy or Adventure stories. The blog is mixed with reviews, lists, and discussion content for other book lovers to come in and join the conversation. I post at least twice weekly, but there will usually be a post on every weekday. I rarely post weekends. I post detailed and honest reviews for all my books – from shining 5-star reviews to salty 1-star reviews.

The Eccentric Trilogy

The Eccentric Trilogy is a book blog dedicated to book reviews, creative writing and our general love of literature. Our team consists of Heather, Helen, Lydia and Shani, and we review books from all fiction except erotica. We’re looking for creative and intriguing books and pinky promise to give you a completely honest review if it is accepted by our team. Please see our ‘contact us’ page for more information on how to submit a proposal for a book review. Our blog has been running for a few years now, but we had to take a break for a few months, but we’re now back up and running (with the valuable addition of Helen to our team) and will be posting once a week from now onwards!

Poesy In Chrysalis

I started my blog as a personal space for sharing my poetry, short stories and random musings. But over time, it transformed into a book blog. Once I started reviewing books as a profession, my blog became a space where I could share my honest opinions about the books I read, give constructive feedback which many authors have told me that they found helpful and recommend books to readers. Apart from posting book reviews and book recommendations, I also post about bookish merchandise, poetry, articles and occasionally sponsored content. I want to spread the love for reading amongst people because I feel that somewhere we have lost that habit of reading over the generation.

Christina’s Book Escapes

Hi y’all and thank you for visiting my blog!

I am a working mum if 2 who has always loved to read! Reading books is my passion since they feel like my own escape! They instantly transport me to a different place, at a different time and make me fall in love with the characters, connect with them, feel their pain and anger, laugh and cry with them..even be them.

I recently decided to turn my love for reading into more than a hobby and started to review books, so I set up my blog. Apart from reviewing on my blog. I am not a fan of huge reviews so I opt to write reviews tha are short and tonthe point without any spoliers!

My blog is fairly new and so it does not have a huge turnaround of visitors yet however I would be thrilled for the opportunity to be able to review some of your titles.

My go to genres are romance and supspense, mystery thrilers!

The Fictional Housewife

This is a lighthearted but sincere review of great books, which began because of my procrastination of “housewife” things in favor of reading. My old house, on the National Register of Historic Places requires lots of work but then again so does my tbr list which, frankly, threatens to crush me at any moment! Still, who can resist a great book and that one last paragraph, page or chapter?! Not me!

While my favorite seems to be thrillers, I’ll read anything interesting. I love so many authors and have full set syndrome (hence the towering tbr pile). Some of my favorite writers include Karen White, James Rollins, Brad Meltzer, Dean Koontz (especially Jane Hawk series), Mark Twain, Liane Moriarty, Ruth Ware…honestly the list is endless. For me, the joy of reading is a great story, so the while I have genre favorites and authors I love, all that really matters is an engaging story.
